This book is the result of hundreds of bed-time story opportunities with both children and grand-children. Ross went from adding his own flavor to books and often distorting them to making up his own – sometimes serial story lasting over many bed-times.

One night he came up with the story of the little girl that wouldn’t go to bed when his daughter Kerri didn’t want to go to bed. It became, over the years, his most requested story.

“Stories”, Ross says, “like this touch kids hearts right where they live. After all it is only us older folks who seem to like going to bed.

“So, whether it is this book, another one, – or you make up your own – don’t miss out on this chance to have fun, teach a little, and inspire you children to read. After all, what they read will have a huge impact on who they are.”

Doug Ross for seventeen years president of Evangelical Christian Publishers  Assoc. Now retired. He has also worked in Youth For Christ, Ken Anderson Films and Tyndale House Publishers. Today he ministers as Executive Director of Global Literature Connection, a division of Global Connection International in Denver, Colorado. He and his wife Sandy work together in the ministry.
